- Carmel, I bought the chewy carmel candies
- Milk (I used vanilla soy milk)
- Nuts (I used almonds and walnuts)
Melt caramel in a double broiler. I used a pot and a glass bowl. Fill pot enough so that the water touches the bottom of the bowl. Add caramels and a tablespoon of milk to the bowl and melt. Stir often!
Crush almonds and walnuts in a food processor. I left mine in a rough chop for better texture.
Once the caramel is melted bring the whole pot over to the area where you will be assembling. I kept my double broiler together so that the carmel would stay hot and pliable.
Assemble. poke a grape with the toothpick. dip in caramel. Dip in nuts. place on wax paper to dry.
